Award-Winning Vietnamese Food in Rancho Bernardo

Cao De opened the first Chieu-Anh in Saigon in 1940. Her daughter opened another branch in 1962 in Binh-Duong province about 30 miles north of town which is still in operation today. In 1984, her son, Minh To opened up a third Chieu-Anh in Windsor, Connecticut before moving it to San Diego in 1996. The reason for this little history? Well, the food at Chieu-Anh is about as authentic as you can get in the U.S.. Minh uses the same recipes and care in cooking as his mother did in Saigon. This is real Vietnamese food.
